I understand the frustration. It gets exasperating even at a distance and up close can be devastating. All the same, with a few exceptions who should be put on trial, I’d mostly like to see these folks deprogrammed, and I’ll do my part to mock them back to their senses if that’s possible.
The WAPO article only serves to remind me that there are fringe people willing to respond to any normie comment in over the top pearl clutching a la "what about the non-binary, homeless, wheelchair bound, people of color" focusing on the finest micro-slice of victims.
The satirical memo only serves to remind me that there are fringe people willing to rage about the pearl clutchers.

The memo is satire (fiction) intended to dramatize that as absurdly as possible. I was inspired a bit by Welcome to Night Vale, but it sounds like maybe you still don't give a damn. I am nonetheless grateful for your comment.

The satirical memo only serves to remind me that there are fringe people willing to rage about the pearl clutchers.

I don't know if the story is fake and even if it's real, I still don't give a damn.
